What Student Works Painting Did:

• Over the years this pool had become extremely faded from the sun and caked with dirt
• Preparation was extensive, as the pool had to be cleaned very specifically prior to painting
• First, the pool was pressure washed and drained numerous times until it was completely clean
• An acid wash was then applied to etch the surface for proper paint adhesion
• Next, two coats of a specific alkyd based swimming pool paint was applied to ensure the longevity of the project
