My name is Michelle Bonnett and I have just completed my second year as a Student Works Franchisee. The first time I heard of Student Works Painting I was defiantly intimidated by the amount of responsibility, hard work, and perseverance that was going to be required of me to run this business, however, once I decided to take on the challenge I was not disappointed. It’s true that running a Student Works Painting business is a lot of work and can be very stressful however, for anyone willing to learn, the managers at Student Works prepare you with tools to handle every situation. Not once did I feel alone or unsupported. The Student Works management team has developed systems for every aspect of the business that, if followed, can almost guarantee success. After two summers with Student Works I am ready to come back for my third. Each year I learn more about running a business, managing employees, dealing with unhappy and difficult clients and I have come to see the value in my experience. This year I will be graduating from UBCO and am one step ahead of all the other graduates, I will already have three years of business experience on my resume and will graduate with practical skills that I will be able to use in my job search. Student Works has given me the confidence I need to know that I can run my own business and succeed. I would definitely recommend running a Student Works Franchise for anyone who is self motivated and ready to gain a challenging but rewarding experience.
