I am a business student and The University of Victoria I have worked with Student Works Painting as a franchisee for the season 2009/2010 and have signed back for my second year. I had a successful first year as a franchisee and will produce the most of all the “rookies”. The reasons why I wanted to be a franchisee are as follows, I wanted to make a lot of money, get some hands on business experience, increase my chances of getting in the business program, and also I wanted to prove to people that I could take on such a huge responsibility and kill it. I can happily say I achieved all of my goals!

I would never have been able to have such an amazing summer without Student Works Painting. This company provided the proper training I needed, the required support and all the necessities to start my business. Student Works Paintings’ District Mangers are a very important role that the franchisee’s work closely with all season long. The recruiting team was very upfront with the expectations of me, and properly prepared me for a hard summer ahead. They told me it would be a long, hard, and stressful summer, and it was, but I got so much more out of it! One thing that I can’t stress enough is listen to what they tell you, how successful you do with your Student Works Painting business is 100% dependent on the effort, time and money you put into it.

It is a fun job! I have met all of my best friends, life long friends, and my boyfriend through Student Works Painting. It is amazing to work closely with everyone your own age. Student Works makes all events exciting and new. Every two weeks for payroll events everyone from your surrounding area gets together for a new fun get together. All in all, Student Works Painting is a great company and I would recommend it to anyone.
